IIRF informs the UN about religious freedom violations

The Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Religion or Belief called for contributions from organizations to the report to the United Nations General Assembly on the Promotion of the right to freedom of conscience, religion, or belief at the national or local level.

The IIRF responded to the call for inputs from the Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Religion or Belief and submitted a contribution that analyzes and describes good practices in promoting religious freedom in different settings around the world. Among the cases described are Nigeria, Iraq and Syria, Colombia and the city of Manizales as an example at the local level.
