What is Self-censorship and how does it affect Christians in their daily life? The International Institute for Religious Freedom (IIRF), the Observatory of Religious Freedom in Latin America (OLIRE) and the Observatory on Intolerance and Discrimination Againts Christians in Europe (OIDAC Europe) welcomes you to participate in the launch of the report on “Perceptions of Self-Censorship. Confirming and understanding the ‘chilling effect’” on June 9 at 07:00 p.m. Vienna time.

This research encompasses case studies conducted in Germany, France, Colombia and Mexico, to understand if Christians self-censor their opinions, and the reasons behind this behavior. We will discuss the phenomenon of self-censorship among Christians with an academic panel composed of experts from the three organizations.
