Democracy, Authoritarianism and Religious Freedom

IIRF Research Fellow Dr. Camila Sánchez-Sandoval published an article in the German Protestant news agency IDEA.

Camila Sánchez-Sandoval wrote on LinkedIn:

A few months ago, thanks to an introduction from Dennis Petri, someone reached out expressing interest in having me write about the relationship between democracies, authoritarianism, and the protection of religious freedom. The email explained that the article would be for IDEA, the largest Protestant news agency in Germany.

IDEA is the most influential evangelical platform in the country. Beyond social and theological topics, they frequently report on the situation of persecuted Christians around the world.

A few days ago, I received three printed copies of IDEA, and it was a joy to see this work published. It is an honor to contribute to the international conversation on religious freedom and to share the knowledge I have built over the years.

We will continue opening paths in the field of Religious Freedom, that “little giant,” as I called it in my doctoral thesis.
