The International Association for Mission Studies (IAMS) will have a study group on “Religious Freedom, Persecution and Mission” at its next General Assembly, on July 17–21, 2026 at Pretoria, South Africa. IAMS has released a call for papers related to this study group, accompanied by a list of possible topics.
Proposals (maximum 250 words) are due by November 30, 2025. IAMS welcomes approaches from a wide variety of disciplines. Guidelines are available on the conference website.
Religious freedom study group convener Robert Lilleaasen and co-convener Vija Herefoss request that people submitting a paper intended for their group should indicate this preference and should copy them (at email addresses RLilleaasen@fjellhaug.no and vh@stefanus.no) when submitting the proposal.
